Games like Journey or Flower are almost meditative in their relaxed quality. Role playing games (or RPGs, as gamers call them) can allow you release pent-up feelings that you didn’t even know you had. Violent games can be a healthy way to release anger so long as you play the right ones. Board games and other tabletop games, meanwhile, can be a great way to bring new people into your life and help you build new social relationships.
