Hydrogen peroxide helps break down the seed coating, helping it germinate quicker and more easily. Make sure the water is room temperature. If it’s too hot or too cold, the seeds may not germinate.

Try not to clump or pile them together or they won’t germinate as easily.

Try adding water to parts of the paper towel that don’t have seeds on it, such as an edge or corner so it soaks up the water without moving the seeds.

Use a sealable plastic bag to help contain the moisture.
